Alexander Rukavishnikov - sculptor from Russia. He was born on October 2, 1950 in Moscow. He graduated from the State Academic Institute of Fine Arts Surikov. He was awarded the People's Artist of the Russian Federation, the Order of Honour, the Order of the Badge of Honour, the Lenin Komsomol Prize, the Order of Friendship.
