Aleksandr Cheban


Aleksandr Cheban - Russian and Soviet actor, theatre director. He was born on August 30, 1886 in Saratov and died on October 8, 1954 in Moscow. He graduated from the Moscow Conservatory. He was awarded the Medal "For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945", the Merited Artist of the RSFSR, the Order of Lenin, the Stalin Prize, the People's Artist of the RSFSR, the Order of the Red Banner of Labour.
