Alana Cash


Alana Cash is an American writer and filmmaker. She is known for writing the book Tom's Wife in 2011.

Career

Novels

In 2011, Cash wrote Tom's Wife, a book about characters, Annie and Tom Huckaby, whom Cash said were composites of people she met in Arkansas. She also based the details of buildings, natural landscape and weather on her grandparents' farm.

Films

Cash's documentary films address the lives of women in science and have been distributed to schools and libraries worldwide:
Anna Freud was translated into German and aired on ORF Television in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.
Cash also wrote and directed the feature film Tom's Wife.

Personal life
