Alaemon


Alaemon is a genus of birds in the family Alaudidae.

Taxonomy and systematics

The name Alaemon comes from the Greek alēmōn, meaning "wanderer". The genus was established by Alexander Keyserling and Johann Heinrich Blasius in 1840.
