Akhay Kumar Das was a Member of the 1st National Assembly of Pakistan as a representative of East Pakistan.

Career

Das was a Member of the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan. In Parliament he spoke for the rights of East Bengal and restoration of democratic rights.
