Ajas-pasha
Ajas-pasha was a Bosnian sanjak-bey and later pasha in Ottoman service.
He played a key role in the development of Visoko from Bosnian medieval type of town to Ottoman styled urban organization. He legalised his waqf in 1477 hammam, shops, maktab, water supply system, bridge on river Bosna, madrasa and Naqshbandi khanqah which he built in Visoko.
He was sanjak-bey of Bosnia from 1470-75., 1477–78 and in 1483. He ruled Herzegovina as sanjak-bey from 1478–80 and 1481-83. In 1472 he raided Croatian littoral, Istria and Friuli region, and in 1482 captured Herceg Novi, for which he was awarded title pasha.
