margin
of
Bowers Mountains
just
south
of where
Sheehan Glacier
enters
Rennick Glacier
. Named by
New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee
in
1983
after
Chris Adams
,
New Zealand
geologist
who worked in
northern
Victoria Land
, 1981-82. The ridge is
situated
on the
Pennell Coast
, a
portion
of Antarctica lying between
Cape Williams
and
Cape Adare
.
