Abimbola Ogunbanjo
Mr. Abimbola Ogunbanjo is the President of the National Council of The Nigerian Stock Exchange, a position he was elected to on 25 September 2017. He serves as a Managing Partner in the corporate law firm of Chris Ogunbanjo & Co, a firm he joined over 24 years ago after a spell as a credit analyst with Chase Manhattan Bank Limited. He is a member of the International Bar Association, Nigerian Bar Association, Institute of Petroleum and a registered capital market consultant with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Nigeria.Birth and education
Abimbola Ogunbanjo was born in Nigeria to the family of Chris Ogunbanjo, a Nigerian corporate lawyer and philanthropist. He holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from American College, Switzerland. He also holds LL.B. from University of Buckingham, United Kingdom. He has Certificates in International Capital Markets and Maritime Law from New York Institute of Finance and University of Southampton respectively.
