Aaj Rang Hai
Aaj Rang Hai often called Rang or Rung, is a Qawwali composed by Amir Khusro in appreciation of Sufi saint Nizamuddin Auliya. It is a staple of most Qawwali sessions in North India and Pakistan, specially in the Chishti shrines of Delhi. Traditionally it is sung as a closing piece at the end of a Qawwali session.
In 2012, prominent Pakistani singer Hadiqa Kiani performed a rendition of "Aaj Rang Hai" on season 5 of the Pakistani Coke Studio.
"Aaj Rang Hai" is also the OST for the drama serial Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi, sung by Sahir Ali Bagga.
Before his death, the renowned Qawwali singer Amjad Sabri performed it along with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in Season Finale of Coke Studio 9.
