2020 New York Jets season
The 2020 season is the New York Jets' 51st in the National Football League, their 61st overall, and their second under head coach Adam Gase. The team will attempt to improve upon their 7–9 record from 2019 and return to the playoffs for the first time since 2010.
On July 20, 2020 the Jets confirmed that their home games would take place behind closed doors due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in the United States.

Pre-Draft Trades
- The Jets traded defensive end Leonard Williams to the New York Giants in exchange for a 2020 third-round selection and a conditional fifth-round selection in the 2021 NFL Draft.
- The Jets traded a seventh-round selection to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for guard Alex Lewis.
- The Jets traded a second-round selection to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for a second- and a third-round selection.

- Networks and times for Sunday games from Weeks 5–17 are subject to change as a result of flexible scheduling.
- All Jets games are available to listen to on ESPN 98.7 and the New York Jets radio network.
- Week 4's TNF game against Denver and week 9's MNF game against New England will be simulcast locally in New York on a network TBA at a later date.
- As the result of Saturday flexible scheduling during Weeks 15 and 16, the date, time, and network for those two games will be finalized at a later date—by no later than four weeks prior to game day.
