The 2018–19 Boston Celtics season was the 73rd season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association.
In the playoffs, the Celtics swept the Indiana Pacers in the First Round. It was the first time since 2011 that the Celtics swept their opponent in the First Round.
In the Semifinals, the Celtics lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in five games.
Just days before the second round matchup with the Bucks, Celtics legend John Havlicek, died on Thursday, April 25 at the age of 79. The team wore a black band with a white #17 for Game 1 of the semifinal series with the Bucks which the Celtics won.Draft picks
