The Akron Aeros defeated the Bowie Baysox in the Southern Division [|Championship Series] and the Trenton Thunder defeated the Portland Sea Dogs in the Northern Division Championship Series. The Trenton Thunder defeated the Akron Aeros to win the Eastern League Championship Series.
