2007–08 NBL season
The 2007–08 NBL season was the 30th season of competition since its establishment in 1979. On 21 November 2006, the Gold Coast Blaze joined the league, expanding it to 13 teams.

This is the ladder at the end of season, before the finals. The top 8 teams qualified for the finals series.The NBL tie-breaker system as outlined in the NBL Rules and Regulations states that in the case of an identical win-loss record, the results in games played between the teams will determine order of seeding.
Finals Series
Elimination Finals
The elimination finals were played over 4 days. The first two teams automatically went ahead to the semi finals. The winner of Game 1 went on to play the 4th placed team, while the winner of Game 2 went on to play the 3rd placed team.(5) Townsville Crocodiles vs. (8) Gold Coast Blaze

Semi Finals
The semi finals took place in a best of 3 series. But, the Melbourne Tigers that advanced through to the Grand Final didn't need the 3rd game, winning 2–0.(1) Sydney Kings vs. (4) Perth Wildcats

Grand Final
The Melbourne Tigers beat the Sydney Kings 3–2 in the best of 5 series. Three of these games were played at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, while two were played at Melbourne's home ground, State Netball and Hockey Centre.(1) Sydney Kings vs. (2) Melbourne Tigers
