1997 New York Giants season
The New York Giants season was the franchise's 73rd season in the National Football League and the first under head coach Jim Fassel. The team improved upon their previous season's output of 6–10. By winning ten games, plus additionally tying the Washington Redskins for first tie by the Giants since 1983, the team qualified for postseason play for the first time in four seasons.
