Dhe (Cyrillic)
Ze with descender is a letter of the Cyrillic script. It is unique to the Bashkir language where it represents the voiced dental fricative, like the pronunciation of in "this". Its form is derived from the Cyrillic letter Ze. It is romanized as ⟨ź⟩, or more phonetically, ⟨ð⟩.
The letter itself is introduced in 1939.
