Červeník Červeník is a village and municipality in Hlohovec District in the Trnava Region of western Slovakia .History In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1113 . The first known name of the village was "Bin", it was changed to "Wereswar" in 1394 , in 1661 to "Veresvar", and in 1911 it was Vorosvar. In 1920 Vorosvar was changed to the "Slovak-like" name Veresvar nad Vahom and finally, in 1948 to Červeník.Geography The municipality lies at an altitude of 147 metres and covers an area of 9.939 km².
